Final Drive Genetics is owned and operated by Jordan & Katie Leatherman along with their son Cullen and daughter Elliott. FDG was established in the Fall of 2010 in Shipshewana, IN with two sows and a dream. In the Summer of 2018 the 50 sow herd relocated to Katie's home farm in Paragould, AR. Both Katie and Jordan grew up in the livestock industry. Jordan's father Todd was a partner of the successful J&K Genetics firm in the Mid 1990s and early 2000s where Jordans passion for breeding showpigs was developed. Katie had a successful show career in the ring winning multiple State and National Grand & Reserve Overall banners as well as winning multiple showmanship buckles at WPX, NWSS, NAILE, American Royal and NJSS. Both of their backgrounds have paved the way for their passion of today, which is providing a high caliber project for youth exhibitors and helping them along the way to reach their goals and dreams.
